Hi! I run an event styling business in Sydney and I’m looking for reliable event styling assistants for ongoing casual work. Work will vary between events and may include: • Event setup & pack down • Artificial floral arranging/styling • Backdrops, draping, plinths & props • Centrepieces, candles & table styling • Loading/unloading equipment • Preparing florals and décor before events • General assistance with weddings, engagements, baby showers & other events I’m looking for people who are reliable, creative, hands-on and have a good eye for detail. You must be comfortable with some lifting and physical work. Experience in event styling, floristry or weddings is preferred, but I’m also happy to consider someone with a creative eye who is willing to learn. Most events are Friday–Sunday, and some pack downs may be late at night. Own transport is preferred. I’m hoping to find a few people I can regularly work with long-term, not just for one event. I'm looking for a florist or flower stylist to source flowers from Sydney Flower Market and create wedding flowers either the day before or the morning of a wedding. The style the couple is after is colourful, playful and modern, with a relaxed garden-party feel. Think bright seasonal blooms, single-stem bridesmaid flowers, and simple bud-vase table arrangements rather than traditional formal wedding florals. Bridal party: - 5 small bridesmaids bouquets (each made up of an individual or single stem of a coloured flower that matches their dress with matching ribbon that will be provided) - 1 brides bouquet (made up of a mix of the bridesmaids colours and any other flower that works well in the bouquet with a long white ribbon) - 5 groomsmen boutonniere (can be either a mix of the bridesmaids ones or individual colours similar to the bridesmaids) - 1 grooms boutonniere (matching the brides bouquet or a different flower that’s in the brides bouquet only) Table decor: - Coloured posey’s/flowers from the bridesmaid bouquets arranged in glass jars - very minimal styling and minimal flowers needed. We can provide the jars laid on the table, ready for the florist to style. Arbour: - Arbour will have white fabric draped over it. - Small collection of coloured flowers on one top corner of the arbour like the images. Not necessarily all flowers but natives, foliage etc Will need to go to the flower markets this weds morning for full day shoot on thursday. Shoot is in Bella Vista, NSW. The shoot will be 6 hours.
