Seeking an in person quote for someone to sand and re-lacquer our solid wood floor boards to prepare the house for sale. The floor boards are in very good condition and do not need any repairs, it’s just that the current gloss lacquer is peeling off them. We are seeking someone who can quote asap and ideally has capacity to do the job as soon as possible in the next month or sooner. I have 3 bedrooms that I need the carpet and any fittings/nails from the floor to be removed. Depending on the condition of wooden flooring underneath I may also need it to be sanded back ready for the floors to be polished.

Three bedrooms, hallway hallway, lounge, dining room, small kitchen and laundry. There is carpet in the three bedrooms which will need removing. I will negotiate removing that myself. Can I have a cost of having it removed please. There is lino in the kitchen and laundry. Underneath the lino there is Chipboard or something like that. That will also need to be removed to access the hardwood floors. Can I get a quote please. Will need to work started on 7 December. The house is currently empty. Prior to the sanding I am having the house painted throughout.

I have ripped up the carpet in my reno and the floorboards need a good sanding and polishing. The living room and three rooms need to be done; they’re all quite small.

Main floor upstairs, approx 110m2. About 80m2 has the underlay (very sticky) stuck to the floor, so this will need to be removed first.
