I’ve got a colorbond fence going up shortly and am after someone to weld up some double gate frames for me to clad and hang. Just needs to be basic framework out of 25mm/1 inch gal square section. Nicely braced as they will be wide gates. Bonus if you can powder coat in surf mist. Each frame needs to be 2400mm wide and 1800mm high to give me a nice 4800mm (approx) caravan access. I have recently bought a surf mist colorbond fence kit (2.4m wide and 1.8m high panels) for my mother in law’s front fence. I haven’t found the time to finish it myself so am wanting someone competent to get it done. I’ve built two besser block pillars for either side of the driveway and there is approximately 25m of straight, level fence to go up either side. I’ve dug holes and roughly stood up one side of the framework as seen in the photos. I’m also looking at having a double gate to one side of the driveway consisting of two full panels of the fence (creating a 4.8m entry for caravan). All fencing materials are on site, one of the pillars is standing and the other is two thirds done but neither have been rendered yet, double gate hardware/posts can be purchased when required. Blocks are on site to complete the second pillar. The soil is pure sand and easy digging and clear access along the full length. No gate required across driveway at this stage. Job involves: - besser block pillar completed including backfilling with concrete. - pillars rendered with approximately 4mm thickness, fine grade. - one more hole to dig and panels installed to complete frame work for one side, and posts concreted in. - the other side has not been started so will requires holes dug and framework installed and concreted in. Including allowance for double gate. - fence posts are 2700mm so holes are approximately 1000mm deep including 100mm below bottom of post. 2400mm posts on site for pillar and corner attachment as well as either side of double gate. (The fence will fit past the gum tree without a hassle). Hoping to have it done between 7th and 10th of May.
