Hi, I’m looking for a skilled carpenter / joiner / cabinet maker to design and build a custom front table / counter for my market stall. I’ve attached a reference image to show the general look and style I’m aiming for (modern, timber and black, clean and professional), but this needs to be purpose-built for real market use rather than decorative furniture. The table needs to be collapsible or modular so it can be packed down and transported easily. It must be lightweight enough to move, but strong and stable enough to comfortably hold a pie warmer and basic service equipment — it cannot be flimsy. Minimum depth required is 50cm. Total length will be approximately 2–3 metres, and I’m open to advice on the best modular layout. It will be freestanding inside a marquee and needs to sit level on uneven ground. Materials would ideally be timber (or timber-look panels) with black structural elements, finished cleanly and professionally for food market use. The front panel should allow for a logo to be added later (likely an acrylic sign). I’m open to modular sections rather than one long piece, and I’ll need space for staff entry/exit at one end. Happy to collaborate on practical improvements — function is just as important as aesthetics. Please include any relevant experience or photos of similar work, a rough price range, estimated build time, and any suggestions you think would improve the design. I need a licensed plumber to replace the existing kitchen sink mixer with a brand-new one (I’ve already purchased it, still unused and in the box). They should also replace the laundry tap set with standard hot and cold water handles/taps that I have purchased. Here are the details: - Both jobs need to be done on the same day. - I’ll provide the new fittings, but they need to be professionally installed. - The property is in Bedford Park. - I’m flexible with the timing. The plumber must be licensed and have experience in mixer and tap installations. They should also bring their own tools and any extra fittings required for a proper finish. Please provide me with your availability and an estimate for the job. Please also note that both the existing tabs have some issues with leaks that I need resolved in the same job. Need assistance to remove the end cap on a curtain track, insert additional hanging clips, and resecure the cap. The curtain was temporarily installed with approx. 1m of clips skipped and will need to be unclipped and re-hung on the new clips. The curtain rod also needs repositioning to the end of the curtain. The end cap is pop-riveted from the top – it may be possible to drill it out without removing the rail. The installer’s own judgment is required for the best method.

I need someone to scrape and remove about 1 inch (approx 2.5cm) of topsoil from a garden pathway so I can lay some weed mat and fresh stones. The path is roughly 6 metres long and 0.7 metres wide. The job involves: • Scraping off the top layer of dirt evenly along the path • Removing and disposing of all soil and debris Important: • No paving or relaying is required – I’ll take care of that later. • Access is straightforward. • Must bring your own tools (shovel, wheelbarrow, etc.) and be able to remove the soil offsite.
