The monitor or TV and the Wi-Fi are checked as appropriate for any video, audio or connectivity problems. Once the problem is found, your console repair specialist works on the necessary fixes. Â
Checking connections
Your console repairman checks all the connections that lead to and from the gaming console. This includes the HDMI cables, the HDMI ports on both the TV or monitor and the console, the power plugs and the controller ports. Your specialist can also check your internet for connectivity problems and do the appropriate fixes.Â
Cleaning the internal parts
Defective gaming consoles can trace some of their problems to issues with heat management. The cooling fan usually causes this, along with the heat sink and other internal parts choked with dirt and debris.Â

Replacing the non-working components

Note that your specialist may not have the replacement parts ready, so you must purchase these. Some specialists may offer to go to the console repair store to get these parts for you for a small additional fee. Â
Testing the game console after repair
After your hired repair specialist has applied the fixes, they can test the console. They can check that the game loads up and works, both controllers function and respond as they should, and the video, audio and internet connectivity work as expected.
