My Kenwood KA4040r amplifier has a faulty main PCB according to West Coast Hifi and they can't help me. I know it's a good amp but is it good enough for the money spent to get repaired. I have owned it from new bought 35 years ago. The case is in pristine condition. Still looks like a new amp. It powers up and all selector lights are functioning.

The stock amplifier has stopped working properly – when it’s connected, it makes a loud "machine gun" sound instead of playing audio. Apparently it's pretty common for the amp to fail in these cars. The amp works well when it does, occasionally one of the channels drop out , think its the left one , it comes back sometimes .

Just planning ahead. Someone is installing Pioneer head Unit and front and rear speakers but never done amplifier before. He will look it but if complicated just looking for someone to provide a quote as a back up for later date - Afterpay preferred if possible. I have the installation kit/cables from Ryda so no other parts required.

1) The tracking for the family room glass sliding door seems to be off and is not smooth to slide open and close. 2) The handle for the laundry amplimesh door needs to be repaired/ re-attached.

The Pioneer Amplifier DC-Z72 only plays on one side, and the tape player needs attention as it does not fast-forward or reverse. I can bring it to the repairer if needed.
