Our cleaner attempted the replacement but couldn't reach the alarm with her ladder. What needs to be done: Bring a suitable tall ladder to safely reach the smoke alarm. Inspect the alarm and replace the battery if appropriate. Replacement batteries are already available in a drawer inside the apartment. Test the smoke alarm after replacement to confirm it operates correctly. Send a photo and brief completion update.

One of my power plugs keeps tripping the electricity. Also, my smoke alarm keeps beeping every 20mins and have changed batteries too but it still continues to beep.

i have an approximately 2012 hard-wired smoke alarm. I replaced the backup battery, reinstalled the alarm and it sparked and there are now visible burn marks on the electrical contacts. I need the connection checked and the alarm replaced please :)

Hi, I am looking a licensed electrician (A-Grade) and provide a Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES) if required. My 2 smoke alarms have expired since they were installed 10 years ago. I want to reinstall them. Open to discussing the make and brand of the smoke alarms and the smoke alarms are included in the cost of this task. I also want to take the security camera off the garden shed and install it on the roof since I plan on removing the shed (photo attached). The camera is currently hardwired on the shed and needs to be extended to a nearby pergola/roof beam.

Removed the battery. But after I put it back, it started making the beep sound every 1 minute. Alarm is 7 years old so not yet expired.
