The top lights do not work at all, and the bottom lights only stay on for a couple of minutes before switching off. This makes our key promotional signage look unprofessional and broken. The Job: The task is to diagnose and repair the electrical fault within the lightbox to restore full, constant illumination. The scope of work will involve: 1. Safely accessing the lightbox, which will likely involve carefully removing the poster graphic and diffuser panel to get to the internal components. 2. Diagnosing the electrical issue (e.g., failed LED strips, a faulty driver/transformer, or a loose connection). 3. Supplying and installing the necessary replacement parts to get all internal lights working correctly. 4. Reassembling the lightbox, ensuring the poster is re-installed without damage. 5. Testing the lightbox to confirm it is fully and evenly illuminated and remains on. We have purchased an outdoor spa, which requires a dedicated, hard-wired connection with a residual current operated circuit breaker with overcurrent protection. The spa has a power rating of 15 to 25 amps, and we are looking for cost estimates to provide the electrical connection. I'm no electrician, but an educated guess and some lazy internet research indicate that the scope of work would likely include the following: - Supply, wire and install approximately 10 metres of 6.0 mm TPS twin core and earth cable from the main switchboard to the spa location. - Supply, wire and install 1 x 32A (or greater) 2-pole lockable rotary isolator with IP65 (or greater) rating at the rear of the property. - Supply, wire and install 1 x 32A RCBO (2-pole, 6 kA, C-CVE, C Curve, Type A, 30mA Type-A MOD6). - Supply and install approximately 10 metres of UV-resistant, waterproof electrical conduit. Preferably liquid-tight flexible non-metallic conduit, but PVC and steel would also be acceptable. - Potentially installing a supplementary earth / grounding rod (< 20 ohms) to provide a true earth / PME system, unless the pump / heater(s) are already bonded and there is no exposed metal. - Hardwiring the spa motor from the rotary isolator switch. - Testing, commissioning, and certificate of electrical safety.
