i have an approximately 2012 hard-wired smoke alarm. I replaced the backup battery, reinstalled the alarm and it sparked and there are now visible burn marks on the electrical contacts. I need the connection checked and the alarm replaced please :)

The alarms in the main house all passed and don't need any work. What's needed: - Supply 1 new **photoelectric smoke alarm with a 10-year sealed lithium battery**, compliant with **AS 3786** (please bring it with you) - Install it on the ceiling **directly outside the bedroom door inside the granny flat**, following the manufacturer's instructions - Test the alarm once it's installed When the job is done, please provide: - A photo of the installed alarm showing the brand, model and expiry date - A receipt or invoice for the alarm and labour, with your ABN Battery-powered only, so no wiring or electrical work is needed. It should be a quick 15–20 minute job. The property is tenanted, so the property manager will arrange access with the tenant.

This smoke alarm is beeping and I can’t open it to replace the battery

Removed the battery. But after I put it back, it started making the beep sound every 1 minute. Alarm is 7 years old so not yet expired.

The alarms being replaced are Quell Q1275 240V AC interconnectable. Happy to purchase new mains powered alarms but will need help with remounting and wiring them (the old 3 pin plug on the existing ones have been discontinued)

Need a smoke alarm fitted. Edit based on questions: there is currently a Brooks EIB 141l ionisation smoke alarm installed which needs replacing. I have not yet bought a new one but it appears EIB 146E would be the best replacement. Pics attached on the unit and where it is currently installed.
