Recently had FTTP installed downstairs. Would love to get a quote to relocate my new WiFi router (black one in the photos) upstairs, as the WiFi speeds upstairs have been poor. I'm hoping to get this done with by running an Ethernet cable through the walls, to a wall outlet where my FTTC connection used to be (white router in photos). Please note, the current outlet upstairs is not an Ethernet outlet. I'm in a double story town house with a metal roof. Hi I have my TV running on Wi Fi but would like it hard wired via ethernet from the existing NBN source. Trouble is,the nbn box /port is located on the opposite lounge wall.l don't wanna run cables through the lounge as it would look unsightly..as such l would like the cable run via the ceiling, snaked through the wall to the back of the TV where there is other cables are. Walls are ~ 10m apart plus or minus 2m to run/ snake it from the top of the wall to the back of TV Single story- tiled

The property has an NBN (FTTC) connection but the point is the old style phone jack (cream coloured plug - photo attached), that requires an adapter for use. Ideally we would like to replace the adaptor to a newer style point. At the same time if it could be relocated in the lounge as it's currently in a bedroom which is inefficient.

Sparky here, just moving my nbn box however when pulling back my fibre cable I have damaged the connector. I need someone who can reterminate the fibre to connect back into my nbn box. I don’t have the correct tools.
