I’m looking for someone experienced with Adobe Illustrator to give me an in-person beginner lesson. I’m very new to Illustrator and would love someone patient who can sit with me and show me the basics hands-on. I’d particularly like help learning: • Pen Tool and anchor points/curves • Creating and editing vector shapes • Layers and organising artwork • Grouping elements • Fill and stroke • Creating closed paths for colour fill • Pathfinder tools, including creating cut-outs • Type tools and converting text to outlines • Using the Glyphs panel • Placing an image as a template/reference • Alignment, resizing, copying and arranging objects • Basic vector illustration techniques • Setting up documents in CMYK I’m mainly looking for someone who is good at explaining things to an absolute beginner rather than rushing through advanced techniques. Ideally I’d like an in-person session of around 2 hours where I can work along on my own laptop while you demonstrate and guide me.
