Little one broke her last dummy tonight. Now in desperate need. I had no back up and don’t have anyone to grab one. Just not wanted to get her out of bed. She is 2.
My 2 year old had chewed her last dummy & threw it into the bin. We had been talking about giving the dummy up for so long now. Not sure what I was thinking but I was convinced that this is it! Nope. Tonight’s meltdowns and very emotional over not having her dummy. I’m a single mum so I wasn’t sure what to do. I probably should have popped her in the car and gone to the supermarket but the thought of taking her out of bed at 9pm then to the supermarket really was not what I wanted to do so I put up a task on airtasker and within minutes Holli responded. Instantly, I felt like she was some sort of angel. I felt so silly with my request but she made me feel less of a silly person. She was prompt, to the point and literally had the dummies to me within half an hour. She is overly generous and understood my situation and her reassuring hug was the icing on the cake.
