We have just had our deck extended. Existing deck is square approx 3m x 5m. New deck about the same with steps. Existing deck has been nailed, is in good condition, has been sanded by me with DIY belt sander and Orbital about a year ago prior to last oiling, but needs sanding to remove “haze” so it is as close to new deck as possible. Nail heads on existing are pretty flush, I hammered them down before last sanding, Ozito belt sander didn't really like the nails tho but a commercial belt sander will probably glide over! New deck has been installed with countersunk screws, needs light sand before I oil the whole thing. I have hit it with Sodium Percorbonate and Oxalic Acid twice so should be ready to go.

Deck is 8 X 4 meters (approx.) Needs to be sanded prior to oiling - we want a quote for sanding - Due date: Flexible

I have an existing Merbau deck that needs to be sanded back. Note that the nail heads are slightly exposed so the nails will need to be punched in first. The overall deck area including the Merbau step is approximately 20 square meters. The old coating is peeling quite a lot in some places. I will look after the oiling so no need to quote for that. The job can be done between the 26th Dec and 1st Jan. Otherwise needs to be done after the 10th Jan. I’m fine to wait till Jan to have it done.
