Find an experienced cook in Berwick

My wife and I both work full time and we’re finding it really hard to get proper meals on the table during the week. We’re looking for someone to come to our home in Berwick and batch cook healthy Sri Lankan or South Indian style meals for us. What’s involved: • Cooking at our home (fully equipped kitchen — pots, pans, rice cooker, blender all supplied) • We provide all ingredients. Send us your shopping list, or suggest what we should pick up and what you’d like to cook that day • Around 4-5 dishes per session, portioned into containers for the fridge/freezer • Kitchen and cookware left clean • Approx. 3 hours per session Bonus if you can help with our toddler: We have a nearly 2-year-old daughter, so it would be a big plus if you can suggest and cook simple healthy meals for her as well — mild, no added salt, easy to freeze in small portions. Happy to buy whatever ingredients you recommend for her. What we’re after: • Someone confident with traditional Sri Lankan or Indian home cooking — rice and curry, dhal, sambol, veg dishes, chicken/fish curries • Healthy home-style cooking, not heavy restaurant-style oil • Reliable and comfortable working in a family home This is a paid trial for one session. If it works well for both sides, we’d love to make it regular — twice a week, ongoing. This is for 2 people, and all recipes and portion sizes have been provided by a nutritionist, so it’s important that the meals are prepared and divided according to the exact amounts given.
