Mg MacBook Pro A1278 turns on with the white light and makes a noise then dies but the screen stays black the entire time. I’ve tried troubleshooting by Google and apple instructions but it doesn’t display anything and stays black. Could anyone help me or know what is wrong with it?

Hi I do Zoom Tai Chi classes from my laptop but the screen is too small on the laptop to watch the finer movements of the teacher. I need help connecting the laptop to the big screen TV so I can see the instructor better and also they still need to be able to see me (either via the camera of the laptop if that is possible or if not I can buy a camera to enable this to happen) I just have no idea how to set all of this up : /
