I need someone who is at a high level of Android knowledge on Samsung phones, to show me how to stop Android hijacking the notification sounds on apps. The Android system is simply not allowing the default notification sounds of apps to be used. It is running Android 11. For example...... it will not allow the default WhatsApp sound to be used and only gives the Android sounds as an option for notifications. I am usually fairly savy with these things but am unable to change this extremely frustrating setting.
