We’d love someone who can make and serve a small selection of cocktails throughout the afternoon, while being warm, social and happy to have a bit of fun with the theme. Still spicy. 🌶️ The Hot Flush-Margarita Tequila, lime, salt + chilli. Hot. Flushed. Irritated. 💗 The Remission Royale Chambord + prosecco + a tiny splash of cranberry Finally, some good news. 💚 The Fuck Cancer Passionfruit, vodka, lime + prosecco. Here for a good time, not a long treatment plan. We’ll provide the alcohol and can discuss the ingredients, glassware and equipment with you. We’re mainly looking for someone to prepare, mix and serve the cocktails, keep the bar area tidy and make sure guests are looked after. Date: Friday 16 October 2026 Venue: Victoria University, St Albans Campus, Building 9, Brimbank VIC 3021 Budget: Approximately $2,000 total for both people, including ingredients, supplies and all work below. SERVICE Up to 75 adults, maximum two cocktails each and 150 cocktails overall. Proposed menu: Margaritas, Mojitos, Cosmopolitans and Aperol Spritzes. We welcome practical menu suggestions within budget. No food catering or general beer/wine service required. HOURS • Complete shopping and pre-chilling before arrival. • 5–7 pm: Both staff onsite for setup and preparation. • 7–9 pm: Cocktail service. • 9–9:30 pm: Cleanup and pack-down. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Plan quantities and purchase all alcohol, mixers, fruit, garnishes, ice and other ingredients using standard-priced brands. • Supply clear plastic cups, food-safe jugs/batch containers, napkins, bar tools and adequate cold storage. • Prepare suitable cocktail bases beforehand and finish drinks during service. • Manage measured pours, two-drink limits, responsible service, replenishment and station cleanliness. • Clean and pack down the cocktail area, dispose of waste appropriately and hand over unused stock and purchase receipts. Both workers must have current Victorian RSA credentials and cocktail-service experience. Nominate one lead contact responsible for coordinating the complete job. Please provide an itemised, all-inclusive offer covering both workers, shopping time, supplies, equipment, transport, cleanup and GST where applicable. Include your experience, insurance details and any exclusions. We will confirm venue facilities and applicable liquor permissions before booking. It will be a relaxed cocktail-style party rather than a sit-down dinner, with grazing/finger food being served throughout the night. Responsibilities will include: Helping with final setup before guests arrive Heating and serving food as required Keeping food and grazing areas stocked and looking presentable Clearing used glasses, plates and napkins throughout the evening Washing/rinsing glasses and keeping the kitchen tidy General tidying and cleaning as needed Helping with pack-up and as much cleanup as possible before finishing at 10:45pm I’m looking for someone who is confident, self-directed and proactive, who can keep an eye on what needs doing without needing constant instructions. All equipment, glassware and ingredients will be provided, so you’ll just need to bring your personality, cocktail knowledge and energy! As it’s a hens party, we’d ideally love a fun, confident male who is comfortable being the centre of attention.
