I am looking for an experienced and reliable tradesperson to restore my timber deck, ramp, and stairs, including painting the balustrades and frame. The deck is structurally sound but has significant surface weathering, patchy staining, and some mould in shaded areas. The scope of work includes: 🔨 Scope of Works 1. Inspection & Preparation • Inspect deck, ramp, and stairs for loose fixings or damaged boards (replace or secure if required – small allowance included in your quote). • Fill and sand any patched areas on balustrades and frame. 2. Deck Cleaning & Treatment • Apply commercial-grade deck cleaner/brightener to remove dirt, mould, and greying. • Pressure wash and allow to dry fully. 3. Sanding • Machine sand deck, ramp, and stairs to remove old finish and smooth timber (approx. 30–35 m²). • Edge sand and hand sand around posts and stairs. 4. Coating – Deck • Apply 2–3 coats of high-quality decking oil or stain (Cutek, Intergrain, or Cabot’s – to be confirmed with me before starting). • Include anti-slip additive in the final coat on stairs and ramp for safety. 5.
