I have a 2010 Toyota Vellfire and I would like to have an iPad Pro 11-inch securely mounted on the dashboard. I would like the iPad positioned directly above the existing infotainment system, as low as possible. Ideally, the bottom edge of the iPad holder should sit very close to, or lightly rest against, the top edge of the infotainment surround. This will help reduce vibration and keep the iPad low so that it does not obstruct the driver’s forward view. I would prefer: * a strong RAM-style mount; * a short arm to minimise vibration; * secure mechanical mounting to a solid dashboard structure or backing plate rather than adhesive alone; * a thin rubber or silicone pad where the holder lightly contacts the infotainment surround; * the iPad angled slightly toward the driver. I have photos showing the dashboard and the position I have in mind. Could you please let me know if you can do this installation and provide an approximate quote for parts and labour?

I have a 2009 BMW 120d E87 that has been off the road and unregistered for almost a year. Around September last year, the dashboard suddenly went completely dead, although the rest of the car was still functioning. A mobile mechanic inspected it but couldn't resolve the issue and suspected an electrical/wiring issue. There is also water getting into the car around the footwell, possibly related to the sunroof/drains. The car now has some mould inside, and after sitting for almost a year the battery is likely dead. I was previously told it could potentially be related to the BMW footwell/FRM module or wiring. I'm looking for someone experienced with BMW electrical faults, preferably E87/FRM issues, who can assess the symptoms and give me a realistic rough price range for the repair. Please let me know your experience with this type of BMW issue and your estimated repair range before accepting the job. I'm not looking to pay someone to simply inspect it and tell me they don't know how to fix it. The car is currently unregistered and cannot be driven, so ideally someone who can come to the car.

I'll provide the dashcam and whatever is needed to complete the install. I haven't bought the dash cam yet, can you please recommend one that too pricey, it's going into an old car for my daughter. Looking for a model that can be viewed on the phone and laptop. It doesn't need to record and keep it for days on end maybe something that records for 24 hours and then writes over it.

Conduct a thorough pre purchase inspection on a used Lexus RC. Its being sold by a dealership and they are happy for the mechanic to use their tools/hoist to conduct the inspection.
