My Holden cruze 2012 petrol 1.4’s engine is overheating. I have already showed it to a mechanic who told me that they put 2l of water but the engine is still hot and 2 pistons are not firing. There is also smoke coming from the car. They advised me to not drive it so it will have to be towed to your garage. Hi I need help removing the stuck engine oil drain bolt on my 2014 Holden Barina Hatchback Auto 1.6L. I’ve put oil flush mixture in the engine oil already so I can’t drive the car anywhere based on the mixture instructions. I bought the right Torx screw kit to fit and a decent wrench but my mechanic on the last oil change seems to have tightened it too hard and I don’t want to go further with it to destroy the bolt, if it hasn’t already done so (which I’m happy to replace if needed after its removal). The bolt has still some teeth but may need channel lock pliers or more if you know the trick for this. I have car stands (2 tonne), but no mechanic tools above the Stanley wrench set I have and the wrench I got from Bunnings recently with the torx screw set. The car is parked in my brother’s apartment car park (in Pyrmont), flat cement surface, with space to raise and work at it. Let me know if you need anymore details. Thanks mate
