Needs spark plugs replaced for Holden commodore vx 2000 (I already have 6 new plugs, you just need to come with tools)

Today when I put the key in the ignition and tried to start the car, all lights turned off and the engine won't turn on, like when the battery is dead. I opened the bonnet and tried short the battery by connecting the negative into the start motor's positive, not a good idea, but it fixed the issue. To me it's clear It's an electrical issue, but I have no idea what's the source, I assume it's not the battery because the car is fine now, the engine turns on really fast and I see no issues anymore, but should be a matter of time to happen again. - Due date: Before Tuesday, 30 January 2024

I'm looking for a mechanic to diagnose and fix electrical problems in my Holden Astra 2006. Here are the key issues: - Intermittent functioning of the horn, interior lights, and front headlights. Lights still work most of the time, horn doesn't. -The car has recently stopped starting altogether. Attempts to turn the car on make the SERVICE LIGHT blink and the ENGINE LIGHT turn (as showed on the photo). I haven't been able to test the electrical system as I don't have the necessary tools. The car currently won't start, and I'd prefer to avoid towing it if possible. Holden Captiva 2008 Diesel - everything runs fine until I turn the aircon. On low revs, especially on idle it makes a high pitch whining sound. As soon as I press the accelerator- the sound vanishes. I assume it has to do either with the idler pulley - the engine has developed a low rumbling sound on idle recently, or with the aircon motor. Looking for an experienced mechanic who knows what he’s doing - from what I’ve read this is a very common issue with these Captivas.

I don't have the special tools to remove the head unit - and to order them for $6 from China will take 6 weeks or longer. All I need is someone with the right tool to slide open the Opera CDC 40 original head unit. Will probably take 2 mins of your time I just need to borrow your tools.
