Vehicle: 2017 Holden Astra BL (LT) Problem: On turning off ignition, displays 'Shift to Park' (car is in Park) and car unable to be locked until message clears. Message may clear within 5-15 seconds without further action. Message may clear when vehicle systems shut down. Occasionally message sticks, requires restart and ignition off to clear. Possible issue switch/sensor in shift linkage. Seek to inspect/diagnose/correct source. (Internet full of 'Shift to Park' issue on GM vehicles.)

Vehicle: 2013 Hyundai i30 gd2 active auto: one owner, 113K kilometres. Remove existing steering rack and fit used replacement rack sourced from established wrecking yard. This rack from equivalent i30 at 67K kilometres. (i30's have a known issue with the flexible 'star' steering coupler. The steering coupler has been previously replaced in this vehicle.) Clutch kit and gearbox oil will be provided. Flywheel most likely will need to be machined will have to do it in 2 stages, one dissably and then will have to get the flywheel machined and the put back in.
