I purchased a new screen for my Toyota Corolla 2018 that has car play. I got a friend to install it for me and everything is working perfectly except they couldn’t figure out how to connect my cars original reverse camera to the screen. The manual for the new screen says it is possible and I even went to Autobarn and purchased a specific Toyota reverse camera adapter but my friend still couldn’t figure it out. He tried for hours so I really don’t want to waste anyone else’s time as well, please only respond if you’re confident you can do it.

I have a pioneer head unit i would like installed in a Mazda 2007 CX9

1) Replace the factory default no amp headunit with a Sony XVA-AX5500. I have already purchased Aerpro 2 parts harness and facia so this should make it as close to plug and play as possible. 2) Replace a old non hardwired dashcam with a Viofo A229 2 channel hardwired. You'll have to supply some suitable fuse taps. Timing wise I'll prefer Saturday or Sunday as i'm sure those 2 days the car will be at home.
