I need someone mechanically skilled who can: Remove the old alternator in the Repco St Peter’s car park, Hand it in at Repco for the warranty swap, Fit the new alternator back in. Requirements: Must have own tools. Must have experience working on Nissan Patrols or similar diesel engines. Prefer someone who can do the job on-site (in the car park). I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla that isn’t jumpstarting. The battery is only about 3 months old. I called out for emergency roadside assistance who advised having the starter motor replaced, the alternator replaced and getting the battery charged and checked following repairs. The job may have to be completed roadside as the emergency call out team were unable to get the engine running.
