Please edit my footage into a raw, real, professional vlog that is both humorous and touching. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer on the 11th of December 2025. The night before surgery (19th Dec 2025) I started filming my journey. I’ll continue filming during treatment and recovery — my chemo is expected to begin early in the new year (2026), and I won’t be back at work until around April, so there will be more footage added as things progress. I’m open to this becoming one long documentary-style video or being broken into episodes. I just want most of the real moments included to help share awareness and show what this experience is genuinely like. My footage so far is filmed on my phone (vertical + horizontal), and I will also be using a Canon G7X moving forward. I’ve made YouTube videos before, but this one is extremely personal, and I’d like a professional finish — tidy cuts, smooth pacing, captions/subtitles, light music, and emotional timing — while still keeping it raw, honest, and able to include humour where it naturally fits. Most people in my life will find out about my diagnosis through this video, so I need someone who edits with empathy and respect. I’m also happy to do on-site interviews, voice-overs or answer questions to help tell the story properly if that makes the edit stronger.
