Looking for a painter to freshen up an internal wall in an older house. There are two similar rooms, but I’m asking for a quote on one room initially, with the option to do the second room later if all goes well. The wall in this room has two different finishes: One section with old internal cladding One section with old wallpaper and some adhesive residue (see photos) The job is to remove both finishes, prep the wall underneath, and repaint the wall so it looks neat and consistent. Scope of works (for one room): Remove remaining internal cladding where required (cladding is mostly loose, aside from fixings around power points). Remove existing wallpaper Clean off old glue / adhesive residue General wall prep (fill, sand, tidy up surface) 1 x coat of primer/sealer 2 x coats of internal paint This is an older home, so I’m not chasing perfection — just a proper prep and a tidy paint job. Materials: I’m happy to purchase the paint and materials you recommend and keep the receipts. Notes: Internal room, clear access Room size: Approx. 5.5 m x 3.4 m Please bring your own tools I’ve done a fair bit of painting myself, so I’m reasonably familiar with prep and finish standards Looking for someone who masks properly and cuts in neatly.

One feature wall. 2.7m high x 4.1m wide on painted plasterboard in 4 year old house. Wallpaper chosen is from Bunnings (both appear in photos we haven’t chosen which one yet) One side has kitchen bull head to navigate and other side has alarm sensor as per the pics.

The room is 2m x 1m x standard ceiling height (2.7m) It is empty. Has one doorway and one small window. We have the wallpaper already. Wallpaper is 535 mm wide and the pattern repeats every 640 mm.
