Looking for 1 person to help waiter my 40th birthday at my home in Caroline springs. It will be an intimate family and friends event - semi formal standup/cocktail style. Event is from 12:30 till late but the shift is from 12.30pm until 4:30pm. Total 4 staff waiting and bartending. Food will be prepped for re-heating/serving cold and require plating and serving to guests. We’ll also need help restocking the grazing table, clearing up plates and drinks, ensuring guests are looked after and dishes are clean (most dishes will be plastic but some will need hand washing or to be placed in the dishwasher throughout). There is a maximum of 50ppl attending with total 4 staff assisting - including the 1 being sought in this advert. Experience in similar setting will be highly regarded, black attire required on the day. Would like people that are confident to work independently to ensure everything goes smoothly on the day and guests, which means guests are well fed, treated with kindness and the event space is tidy/clean. $30-$35 an hour depending on experience.

One experienced wait staff required to assist at a cocktail party/ private function with approx 40 guests. Time and date required: Saturday, 28 March 2026, 4-8 pm. Location: Hillside VIC 3037 The function starts at 3 pm. After a formal part, finger foods will be served from about 3:30. Our caterer will cook and plate the food, top up the platters and rotate food. All platters with finger foods will be placed across a large table for the guests to primarily serve themselves.
