We are looking for a polished waiter or waitress with catering experience to help with a buffet lunch for 50 people at a private home in Cremorne. Hours are 11am-4pm approx. $40 per hour. If you work extra time, we will pay you $40 per hour for it. Guests will self-serve themselves lunch from the buffet and drinks from eskies but we’d like your help: - Heating up food in our oven - Topping up and setting up the food on the buffet station when needed - Topping up drinks when needed - Keeping the bar area tidy (e.g. corks and beer caps in the bin) - Clearing plates and glasses after use - Loading and unloading our dishwasher and putting plates, cutlery and glassware away - General clean up (e.g. putting empty bottles and used paper napkins in the bin). We're looking for someone who can act as a waiter for a private Christmas Party at our home in Darlinghurst on Friday, December 19th. The rate includes 4 hours of service, beginning at 7PM with an hour of set up before guests arrive at 8PM. Please note that this rate does not include a tip, which will be provided in person as long as you arrive on time and carry out the tasks outlined below. I also take into consideration the fees imposed when determining additional amounts. You will assist with passing drinks and canapes around and ensuring dirty glasses are collected and washed. You will be asked to wear a Christmas themed waiter outfit that will be provided. All that is needed of you attire wise is black pants and ideally black shoes.
