We have 2 x palms and 7 x yuccas that were lopped / chopped down almost 12 months ago. The stumps were poisoned and we were told to leave them for about minimum of 9 months before having them ground / removed. The yuccas have been sprouting again during the last couple of months. The palms and 5 of the yucca stumps are in a raised bed which is open on one side (used to be a fence there - since removed). Along the boundary fence are a two larger yucca stumps - need to be careful not to damage an above ground PVC rainwater pipe. We’re looking to get all of the stumps ground /removed to ground level. In future we’re planning to reduce the size of the raised bed so this might determine how those stumps need to be removed.
