I'm looking for a seamstress or preferably someone skilled with sewing to sew me a 1 or 2 piece leather or fake leather Darth Vader bodysuit. It would basically be pants and a top with 1 inch lines running down the entire length of it, it is quilted so that the leather seems like it has volume, And is fitted to me. I would have to show up probably at your place for you to take measurements, and I do have the quilting and I have approximately 5 m of fake leather. Hemming a large piece of satin fabric that will be used to drape over a four poster bed as a canopy. Fabric is 1.5m x 6.5m. The hem needs to be a rolled hem or similar as the inside of the fabric will also be showing. See picture for example of how fabric will drape over the bed frame. Pictures of fabric also provided.
Katherine was terrific to deal with. She was great at communicating how we could get the result I was after, giving me confidence at every stage. Katherine shared photos of different ways the fabric could be finished and clearly explained the options - this was very useful as I know next to nothing about sewing! Overall it was a positive experience and beautiful result.
