Custom Sewing/Upholstery Project – Removable Cushions for Recliner Chair (2 Sets) I am looking for someone experienced in upholstery, sewing, canvas work or marine trimming to make two sets of removable cushion toppers for clinic recliner chairs. This is not a repair job and not a medical device. It is simply a sewing/upholstery project. I will provide: * A 30 mm memory foam mattress topper (or similar foam) * Access to the chair for measurements and fitting if required I need three separate cushions per chair: 1. Backrest cushion 2. Seat cushion 3. Leg-rest cushion Requirements: * Cut the supplied foam to shape. * Sew a neat removable cover for each section. * Add elastic straps, webbing straps or Velcro straps so each cushion is securely attached to the chair and does not move when the chair reclines. * The cushions should be removable for cleaning. Chair dimensions: * Seat: 62 cm wide × 45 cm deep * Leg section: 62 cm wide × 54 cm deep * Backrest: 62 cm wide at base, tapering to 53.5 cm at top, approximately 57 cm high I require two identical sets. An ABN invoice is required. Please provide examples of similar upholstery, sewing, caravan, marine, automotive or canvas work if available.

I love knitting but absolutely hate weaving/sewing in the ends of the yarn at the end. I have a shawl I knitted last year and I still haven’t brought myself to be able to sew in the rest of the yarns ends on it. Turn my pain into your gain! If you are a knitter who doesn’t hate this task as much as I do, then I’d love to pay you to do this arduous task for me. I’m happy for you to pick up the shawl to complete the task or I can drop it to you anywhere around Canberra. It is a very large shawl (takes up my entire 3 seater sofa) but there are only a handful of ends to sew in from where I started new balls of yarn, and where I cast on and off the work - I would say no more than 10-12 yarns ends that need sewing/weaving in.

I'm looking for a seamstress or preferably someone skilled with sewing to sew me a 1 or 2 piece leather or fake leather Darth Vader bodysuit. It would basically be pants and a top with 1 inch lines running down the entire length of it, it is quilted so that the leather seems like it has volume, And is fitted to me. I would have to show up probably at your place for you to take measurements, and I do have the quilting and I have approximately 5 m of fake leather. Not sure if I got the right quilting though - But if you know sewing, you'll know exactly what to use and if I got the correct stuff. Would love to meet and go over reference photos so you know exactly what I'm after.
