I’m looking for someone with a sewing machine / sewing abilities who would be able to sew some Velcro strips onto couch cushion covers so they will hold in place. The Velcro strips would be provided but would need thread. Can arrange drop off/pick up if easier Open to offers.

I am hoping to purchase a dress in size 14 (last size available) that I’m hoping to have altered to fit me, I am a size 6. I am wondering if this is even possible, and how much it would cost?

I recently purchased an electric recliner sofa lounge suite, and while I appreciate its overall quality, I’ve found the seat height to be a bit too high for my comfort. I would be grateful if it could be adjusted—specifically, shortened slightly and with the pitch brought forward a bit to better suit my posture and ease of use.

Hemming a large piece of satin fabric that will be used to drape over a four poster bed as a canopy. Fabric is 1.5m x 6.5m. The hem needs to be a rolled hem or similar as the inside of the fabric will also be showing. See picture for example of how fabric will drape over the bed frame. Pictures of fabric also provided.

I have about 8 items that need tailoring to fit me Some pant/dress length, some waist on pants, collar removed etc

I would like to pay someone to teach my 20 year old daughter to sew basic clothes over 4 lessons, conducted on weekends. I would like her to be able to make two garments, with two lessons spent on each. I think that a couple of hours for each lesson would be good, and she can progress things between lessons. One or two friends might also choose to join the class. Looking for an experienced sewer who can lead through all elements, including using a pattern, sewing, adjustments and finishing. My daughter has her own machine.
