We’re looking for an experienced curtain maker or seamstress to help us sew custom decorative curtains for our new venue opening inside Crown Melbourne. We only require the sewing work – we will supply the fabric (deep blue, velvet-style look), and we will handle all attachments and installation ourselves. These curtains are purely decorative, meant to stay gathered and elegant, with a quick-release system in case we need to open the glass doors behind them. 🔹 No hardware/rails needed 🔹 Fabric supplied by us 🔹 Sewing only – urgent turnaround required We’ve attached two reference images showing the spaces. I recently bought a sewing machine but not good at using it yet. I need someone to come for 2hrs to show me some basic way of using the sewing machine like which needle to use, how to hange it and show me how best to alter some of the cloths and actually alter some of the cloths I have..... etc

I have a dress made of a great kimono fabric. I'd like it to be undone and remade into an ankle - length skirt, copying another skirt I will provide which is a very simple design with side splits to knee and a rear zip. Tasker to pickup the fabric and example skirt from Southbank and drop back on completion. Please also provide the zip. With any leftover material, please make a throw cushion.
