I need the remaining section of an old above-ground swimming pool liner removed from my backyard to comply with a Hornsby Council inspection requirement. The pool itself was removed years ago. This is not a swimming pool demolition job. The only remaining part is a section of flexible blue plastic pool liner approximately 3 metres in diameter, which is now buried beneath vegetation, silt and soil. The job involves: * Clearing enough vegetation/silt/soil to expose the remaining liner * Digging out and completely removing the blue plastic liner * Cutting it into smaller pieces if necessary for removal * Removing/disposal of the liner and associated waste * Breaking up/loosening the compacted soil underneath once the liner is removed so rainwater can penetrate and drain into the ground * Leaving the area reasonably tidy The ground is currently wet and there is some shallow standing water because the buried liner is preventing drainage. No machinery should be necessary — this should primarily be a manual digging/yard-work job using shovel, mattock, rake etc. Tasker should supply their own tools and suitable footwear/gloves. I will provide photos showing the area, the exposed blue liner and the relevant Council rectification requirement.
