Hi, Just arrived in Brisbane from Adelaide. A container (PODS Large, approx. 25m³ — slightly under 20ft) will be delivered on Monday, 7th, and left on the curbside. Task: Unload all household items (3 sofas, a French door fridge, TVs, mattresses, bed frames, boxes, etc. — full contents of a 4-bedroom house) and carry them into the new 4BR house. All items were professionally packed by removalists in Adelaide — it took 2 men about 4 hours, so I expect unloading will be similar or quicker. No furniture assembly required. Important details: The house is double-storey, with access via garage or main entry. There are stairs and a narrow passage to the living area. For bulky items, using the balcony might be easier (photos available)- but it does require some lifting equipment. Tailgate track may work too - there is an elevated parking space right next to the house. The previous tenant managed to get the same fridge and even a grand piano inside, so it’s definitely doable.
