Melbourne removalists are travelling 90-120 minutes to start the job and still doing it cheaper. My proposed rate allowed $300 for vehicle/fuel/equipment, etc COSTS + 6 x ($50/hr x 2) pay rate (which includes 3 hrs DRIVING and 3 hrs for load/unload). But the load/unload should only take experienced removalists a max 2 hrs. I INCLUDED *RETURN TO BASE* IN DRIVE TIME which is not normally charged at full hourly rate, and I overestimated load/unload time, so I ALREADY OVERQUOTED. I have moved (myself and family/friends) many times with and without professional removalists. I know the size, & complexity of this job.
