The main role is to keep the kitchen and party areas tidy and running smoothly throughout the evening, so I can enjoy the party rather than worrying about the practical things! I’m very happy to have a video call beforehand to run through the space, the party plans and exactly what will be needed. Some of the tasks will include: Putting rubbish into the bins and checking bins throughout the evening to make sure they aren’t overflowing Washing crockery and cutlery and putting them back out for reuse Cooking some finger food in the oven Washing serving trays Getting the area ready for pizza Tidying up after pizza Getting the area ready for cake Tidying up after cake If needed, putting out some additional finger food before finishing Keeping an eye on toilet paper and topping it up if needed Sweeping the kitchen floor before leaving Wiping down kitchen benches and surfaces before leaving Making sure the kitchen and party areas are generally tidy and presentable at the end of the night Putting any rubbish bags down the side of the house at the end of the night What I’m looking for: Someone who is reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently. You don’t need to be a professional cleaner or caterer — just someone who is happy to pitch in, keep an eye on things and help the evening run smoothly. Time: approx 6:00pm - 10:00 or so, maybe later Location: Sunshine, 10 mins walk from the train station I’m happy to have a video call before the event so we can meet, discuss the job and go through what will be needed on the night. Hours 530pm to 11pm I need someone to arrive at 530pm To dress some salads , set up a small food table for 25 guests, cut up a few platters Set up outside table , ice in bins When guests arrive at 7 pm offer a drink, I will have the meats already cooking , place a few items in the oven for reheating Maintain the kitchen area. Dishes etc I need someone to carve up the meat , then place all the salads already done and the rest of the food on the buffet table , Guests can serve themselves. While guests are eating , wash some glasses And general kitchen duties If time permits, offer any drinks Then clear the guests table , what dishes need to be done.... Around 930 cake set up the dessert As desserts will already be done Clear dessert plates tidy up and take bins out
