Install either a fiber optic cable or ethernet cable into the conduit, or alternatively, a pull cord. Route the cable from the PCD at the garage to the roof cavity: Continue the cable from the roof cavity down to the desired hub location inside the house: Note; Utilise the existing hub wall plate located directly behind a "waste stack column" for cable runs. This column provides a direct connection point to the roof cavity. Install 2 wall plates for ceiling audio speakers (12) and 7.1 home theater (7). There are already cables hanging loose at the locations where the wall plates need to be installed. You don't need to run any new cables, just connect the existing ones to the plates. This involves soldering the audio cable ends to the appropriate terminals on the wall plates. I have the wall plates and connector terminals already purchased.

We need a electrician / cabler to run a conduit and line so the NBN tech can install FTTP inside. The technician came out to install FTTP today and found he wasn't able to install the cable from our network termination point on the side of the garage through our garage and into the house because it was further then they supported AND mainly because there isn't a manhole into the garage section of the roof for him to access. He suggested a couple of options 1. Install modem and router in garage (not suitable for us as wifi would be poor) 2. Install NBN modem in garage and have network cable run internally to terminate inside. (not suitable as would need PowerPoint in garage etc and still cable run inside) 3. Get conduit run in garage roof (likely get access to cavity removing some tiles).NBN Will run fibre and terminate FTTP inside at modem 4. Get conduit run internally on garage ceiling.
