I am a qualified primary school teacher specialising in Music, with violin as my main instrument. I have been teaching for 12 years and have experience working with students of all ages, particularly primary-aged children and beginners. I have previously tutored violin privately and have taken students through the AMEB exam process, supporting both practical skills and music reading. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building confidence while developing strong musical foundations. I am currently on leave from teaching and will be heading overseas in around two months, so I am looking to pick up some extra tutoring work in music and/or violin during this time. I am happy to travel to you and can be flexible with lesson times. Whether your child is just starting out or needs extra support with school music or violin practice, I’d love to help. I charge $60 per hour or $40 for 30 mins. Happy to negotiate on price depending on location.

6 x 30 min lessons at home or on face time for beginner on keyboard after 4.30pm. Dates are flexible. The aim is to provide introduction and basic instruction to enable enjoyment and fun of learning music.

hi! i’m molly, i’m 19 and i’m looking forward to hearing back from you! i’ve been extremely musical my whole life and played probably more than 5 instruments over the course of me being in primary school (i was at an average level for a kid in all of them because i changed instruments quite frequently when i was younger, but i’ve been told i’m a very fast learner!) and i’ve been singing my whole life but since primary school ended, i’ve had to deal with a lot of personal things and i stopped playing instruments and never got around to learning what i actually really wanted to learn the most, which was the electric guitar especially and acoustic. I’ve also wanted to work on my breathing when i’m singing and to stop having a shaky voice sometimes, learn how to go higher and lower in octaves than i’m already able to and have it sound right, stuff like that :) i know this is probably a too long and unnecessary message, but i just wanted to share some quick details about my history with music and what i’m looking to learn so you could know me better :)
