I have a 2013 proton preve that I purchased brand new, but unfortunately had an accident with a few years later and wasn't covered under insurance. Basically, I hit the townball of car in front at about 10kms (just put it into second gear so not very fast at all) but it was enough to crack the T-Bar which in turn went straight through the radiator and air condenser... At the time the prices for new or even second hand proton parts was ridiculous. Luckily I had a couple of handy mates that were able to pick up a random one from U-pull it, which got me by for about 4-5 years!! Long story short, it started over heating and shutting down due to over heating, so rather than completely cook it, I stopped driving it. It's now been sitting in my carport for since 2022. I loved driving this car and don't want to part with it. I was able to drive it about 10 mins from old place to new without issues until about 1 min from location. that was the last time I drove it. it overheated, turned off and had to wait for it to cool to continue. So basically I'm looking for someone that can/will put the radiator and air condenser back in, give it a full major service and probably needs a couple of oil changes etc + other things done desperately. I'm willing to pay $1000-$1500 for this service to be done, including parts eg radiator and air condenser (doesn't need to be new, can be second hand). I can supply the parts myself but will have to take it out the total offered so that will reflect in what you get. So, if you have a better deal for parts and would rather do that, that's cool with me too! we can negotiate on costs if more $ is needed to have this completed. look forward to hearing from someone! cheers!
