Hi, Trying to install a new head unit in my car. Have followed all of the instructions but still not working. Looking for an auto electrician to come and problem solve. Needs to be today I’m afraid as we are going away for Xmas tomorrow morning. Thanks.

New installed 2015 Forester Android head unit setup

Just hit a wall of my knowledge concerning Android head unit installation. The original 2015 Forester head unit has been removed & the new Android head unit installed. Works well but the OEM rear parking assist camera that the supplier confirmed would connect does not show any rear view image. It does show an image of a camera as per the image attached that indicates it reconises there is a camera connected but no live image. Every so often the power drops out requiring the unit to be reset. Note that no modifications have been made to the wiring loom as the unit was sold as a 'plug & play' which I know is not always the case. Will need an experienced installer as there may need to be soldering of wiring to solve an issue. Also need some general setup guidance to get the best out of the new head unit.
