Installation of a ppd clutch for 2012 hilux diesel 4wd

I recently installed a new head unit into my 2012 Nissan patrol and have tried to use the existing reverse camera. I have hooked up the power wire so the unit knows when the car goes into reverse, I just can’t get the signal wires to provide an image which I assume should be a simple fix with me not knowing the right wiring. The other issue is the unit resets itself every time the car is turned off meaning the time and date needs to be changed again.
