We are seeking an independent contractor to undertake marketing and business-development work. Duties: The Tasker will undertake independent marketing and business-development activities, including approaching local businesses, introducing our services and signing up new clients.  Face-to-face marketing and visiting small businesses.  Speaking directly with business owners, managers or relevant staff.  Introducing the bookkeeping, BAS, payroll and other services provided by us, without providing professional advice.  Providing flyers and business cards directly to appropriate business representatives.  Obtaining prospective clients' business contact details where appropriate and following up businesses by telephone after an initial face-to-face visit where appropriate and lawful. Working Arrangement:  The Tasker independently chooses which days to undertake work. No work to be done on a Sunday though.  On selected working days, the Tasker independently chooses their commencement and finishing times, work times being 9:00 - 5:00.  The Tasker independently selects the suburbs and businesses in which to undertake face-to-face marketing activities.  There is no minimum number of working hours, days, revenue, commission or income guaranteed under the engagement.  The Tasker is responsible for their own travel and transportation expenses. Payment: For every new client you bring to our business, you will receive 75% of the money we receive from that client. You will receive this 75% share for 12 months from the date the client starts paying us. If the client stops using our services before the 12 months end, your share will stop on that date. Payment shall be made within 3 business days after we receive the relevant payment from the New Client. Our hourly rate is $40 for all clients. This is strictly an independent contractor role, and not an employer-employee relationship.
