The bathroom handle is the same style as the main door handle, which is only about a metre away, so ideally I’d like to keep them matching. A while back, the bathroom handle’s locking mechanism stopped working properly — it would randomly lock and then not unlock. I removed it from the door to avoid getting stuck again, but I haven’t been able to fix it since. There may also be one or two small parts missing from when I disassembled it. Best case: • You’re able to repair the existing handle and reinstall it. Next best case: • You can source and install a similar-looking replacement handle that closely matches the main door handle. I can provide photos of both handles for reference before you come.

One of the bedroom window chain winders (the twist handle that opens/closes the window) is stuck, and the window won’t close properly. The mechanism itself doesn’t appear broken — it seems to have just jammed (this has happened before and was able to be freed). I need a handyman to: • Free the chain and get the window closing properly again, • Service the winder (lubricate, adjust, and secure it) so it operates smoothly, • Make sure it won’t jam again anytime soon.
