Since I’ve moved into this older house (Heidelberg) , I’ve had trouble closing and locking the front door. ( door does not close all the way therefore unable to lock causing a major security issue and anxiety for myself.) I’ve tried scraping away with a chisel at the top part of door and nothing has worked. I need someone who is an expert or a trades person who knows what they are doing.

I need someone to remove the existing door handle then install a new door handle on the internal door. Currently the door handle is jammed and the door will not open. One of the screws in the existing door handle has a damaged head so i assume a drill will be needed to remove it. I prefer someone who can source the door handle and install it too but I am comfortable with installing myself as well if required.
