Looking for an experienced gate automation / smart access installer to help complete and troubleshoot our front fencing and gate setup in Hawthorn East. We’ve recently had major fencing and gate works completed, however we now need someone skilled and practical to come in and properly finish the automation and smart access side of the project. Current setup includes: • Sliding driveway gate • Pedestrian gate • Existing electrical wiring already installed for the sliding gate motor • Smart lock / access hardware to be installed and configured • Wiring needing to be checked and tested • Gate automation setup still incomplete We are looking for someone who can: • Install and configure smart locks/access systems • Assess and troubleshoot the existing wiring • Connect and get the sliding gate motor operational • Help integrate keypad/fob/WiFi/GSM/intercom access if possible • Ensure gates are functioning safely and reliably Ideally seeking someone with genuine experience in: • Automatic gates • Sliding gate motors • Smart entry systems • Low-voltage/access control wiring • Gate automation troubleshooting This is not a simple fencing job — we need someone solutions-focused who understands the technical side of automated gates and smart access systems. Hello - I really don't know what the best way to proceed is. Please use the budget as just a guesstimate. The quote will depend upon any materials you use as well which I don't know the cost of. I have an existing gate to enter my property. It is a steel gate, which I can open via an app and an internal panel (intercom). But there are multiple issues - #1 The gate once opened, does not swing back into closure. So, a postie who I have allowed to enter may not close it and it stays open. #2, Whilst the outside (facing the street) handle cannot be twisted, anyone can slide their hand through the grills to open it from the inside handle. So, my question is - is this something you could help me with to fix, or would you say that installing a new gate is the only option?

I was reversing and back into the garage door sliding down halfway. The car was fine but left a subtle curve at the bottom of the garage door panel.No dent on car and panel. The garage door is 2 months old and brand name is 4D Doors. I would like to get a check and see what to do to get the shapeback.

Looking for someone to repair/re-secure a loose external door handle that is connected to an electronic keypad lock. The keypad/locking mechanism is working normally and the door still locks, unlocks and opens fine. The issue is just that the handle and circular mounting plate have become loose and are pulling away from the door (see photos). Would like the handle properly secured back flush to the door and any damaged/rusted screws or fixings replaced if required. Budget: $100 including any basic replacement screws/fixings.

Just moved into a new place and got some jobs for a locksmith: - want 3x locks rekeyed to the same key. Want 5 copies of the new key. - the front door doesn’t unlock properly with the key when locked from the inside. Want this fixed. - there is a padlock on the electricity meter we don’t have a key for. Want this opened or cut. - there is an alarm box we don’t have a key for. Want this opened and rekeyed - one door doesn’t close properly. Want this fixed.

Description: We need help fixing a door that has become difficult to open and close properly. The issue started after the door accidentally slammed shut – since then, it's been misaligned and hard to operate. Additionally, the door lock has come partially detached. We've tried screwing it back a few times, but the screws no longer hold due to the holes being too loose. The lock keeps falling off after a few days. What needs to be done: - Fix the door alignment so it opens and closes smoothly - Secure the existing lock properly (preferred), or - Replace it with a similar-looking lock if it can’t be securely fixed Notes: - We're tenants, so ideally we want to keep the current lock unless replacement is absolutely necessary - Please bring your own tools and any hardware or filler material if needed Let us know your availability and experience with similar door and lock repairs.

Apartment front door handle suddenly loose, very hard to open, near impossible to lock. Seems to be issue either in tubular latch or something is loose. I have had a crack at fixing it but have failed. Abysmally.

The door handle on the bedroom door is getting stuck when it's closed. It's not the door, just the handle causing an issue

The alignment of our front door has slightly moved and that means the lock is not latching properly. Need someone to realign the lock/latch. See pictures.

The Lock on toilte door jammed and needs to removed if cant be fixed whole door needs to be changed

I have a security door (crimsafe). The lock seems to be jammed - it is not opening or closing fully without a lot of jiggling. - Due date: Flexible

My apartment door Lockwood lock does not seem to actually lock anymore. Every time I close door and lock it, I can still open the door with the lower door handle. Prefer to have it fixed if possible. - Due date: Before Friday, 11 August 2023
