I’m looking for a locksmith to inspect and provide working keys for three areas of my property: 1. External glass door – Existing door handle and lock, but no key available. 2. External pedestrian gate – Check existing locking mechanism and provide a working lock and key. 3. Front letterbox – Existing lock, but no key available. Ideally, I would like to retain the existing hardware where possible and have new keys made or locks rekeyed. Replace locks only if necessary. I need my front and side access made secure, with all three locks keyed alike so one key opens everything: Front pedestrian gate: there’s an existing keyed lock but the key is lost. Please replace the lock or barrel. Front driveway gates: these can currently be pushed open by hand. Please fit a drop bolt or other fixing to hold one leaf in place, plus a keyed lock where the two gates meet. Side of house: there’s no gate at the moment. Please supply and install a new gate to match the metal with a keyed lock. Back fence gate: lock back gate with same lock and key. Photos are attached. Please quote supply and installation for all three, including the gate material and the lock hardware you’d use. Weatherproof locks preferred. Availability in the next few days would be great. Measure the side opening (width and the height you want) and photograph it with the fence on either side. The side gate is the biggest part of the job, so good photos will get you more accurate quotes. If the side gate makes the job slower, you could ask whether a tasker can do the locks first and come back for the gate.

Looking for an experienced locksmith/electronic lock installer to assess and install a Codelocks smart lock on a solid timber front door in Kew. The property is occasionally rented short-term. I need: * time-limited guest PINs that expire automatically * no Wi-Fi/internet required at the property for entry * mechanical key override for the owners * permanent owner access * preferably Codelocks NetCode I’m considering the CL5020 NetCode, but I’m open to a simpler/cheaper Codelocks model if it meets the requirements and fits the existing door cleanly. The door currently has a mortice lock with Euro-profile cylinder. Photos of the door, lock and strike are attached. Before I order the lock, please confirm compatibility, whether the existing mortice/strike can be reused, and your recommended Codelocks model.
