One of our bathroom doors is locked from the inside and won’t open. It’s a simple internal door handle with one of those small switches that locks the door

Can’t open the door from the inside of the house as the handle just goes straight down or straight up, doesn’t actually open the door. The outside door handle works fine. Need it looked at to fix so we can open it from the inside.

Hi I have attached a photo of the existing latch thing on the metal sidegate of the house. I have also attached two photos of the kind of lock (the black one) that I'm looking to have installed. What we need is a proper lock that can only be opened with a key from the outside. Please put an offer with a quote. Initially I wanted a smartlock but have realized that's not possible on this gate so just the regular one will do. Remove old front door and install new one from bunnings plus lever entry set and deadlock set. I have not yet bought the door and supplies as I am not sure what I need to get for the job to be done. Size of door is standard 820mm x 2040mm x 40mm
