Need a criminal lawer in Melbourne
$1,500
Melbourne VIC, Australia

I am seeking legal representation regarding a criminal matter from an incident on 30 March 2024 at a Holi Festival in Docklands, Melbourne. I was 18 at the time, on a student visa for seven months, and had no prior criminal history. During the overcrowded festival, I consumed some alcohol and became separated from my friends. I observed my friend (co-accused) involved in an argument and approached to understand the situation. By the time I arrived, a physical confrontation had begun. I was pushed from behind, fell, and became trapped under multiple people. I suffer from sinus-related breathing issues, documented by a doctor one month prior. Under pressure and panic, I experienced a medical emergency and, while trying to protect myself and breathe, reflexively bit one individual. This was not intentional or premeditated. Security intervened, and police arrived, providing me with an inhaler. I was arrested and later interviewed, but due to fear, panic, intoxication, and unfamiliarity with the legal system, I gave some inaccurate answers. I was initially charged with four offences. During the proceedings, police withdrew two charges and later granted diversion. On the day diversion was to be finalised, the complainants unexpectedly demanded monetary compensation directly to the Judge, preventing diversion. At subsequent hearings, I explained my circumstances in person, and police withdrew three of the four charges, leaving only one outstanding. The Court advised me to obtain legal advice and indicated the matter should be resolvable. Nearly two years have passed, I am now 20, and I have maintained good character. The next hearing is on 9 February 2026. I am seeking legal advice and representation to review the remaining charge, explore withdrawal or diversion, and resolve the matter without conviction while protecting my criminal record, employment prospects, and visa status.

Commercial property lawyer
$200
Essendon VIC 3040, Australia
14th Jan 2026
Purchased a commercial property located in regional South Australia through a Buyers Agent (BA) which was leased until April 2029 with further options. A a part of the due diligence the selling agent presented the rental ledger and a letter provided to them by the vendor dated 09 October 2025, the lease was on a joint name with two tenants (tenant A and tenant B) and the letter outlined that there had been an issue between the tenants they were a little bit behind rent and that moving forward tenant A will continue with the lease and run the business operating within the premises. On the day of the settlement on 26 November 2025, the selling agent simply said the entire outstanding rent had been paid to the vendor until the settlement date and I can continue with receiving rent moving forward. I engaged a local real estate agent to manage the property. When the tenants were asked to pay the rent, contrary to the information presented earlier which formed the basis of the property purchase, tenant A advised they had informed the vendor three months ago and had left the business and the lease and have nothing to do with it. Furthermore, tenant B said who had left the business in the letter provided, they will take up the lease and pay the rent. It has been nearly two months and no rent has been paid. The real estate agent has issued a notice of breach to the tenants. I believe the vendor and selling agent did not provide the correct information to me and the bank otherwise, I would have never purchased the property. I seek help in this matter.
