I’m looking for an experienced landscaper or handyperson to prepare and install a light decorative gravel ground covering in a small residential courtyard. (See attached before and proposed after images on how we’d like it to look) Courtyard size: approximately 13 metres x 2 metres (26 m²) Scope of works: • Remove existing loose soil, weeds and debris • Light ground levelling as required • Supply and install weed-mat • Supply and install light-coloured decorative gravel (e.g. white quartz or light limestone, approx. 10–20mm) • Neat finish to edges (existing brick edges can be used; no major retaining required) • Courtyard easily accessible at ground level The goal is a clean, low-maintenance, modern finish that suits a brick apartment courtyard and allows for good drainage. I’m after a naturalistic, Ian Barker–style feel, not anything formal or overdesigned. The ground should be soft green groundcover (e.g. native violet or Dichondra repens) over a free-draining base, with three small, irregular creek-style stones (200–300 mm) half-sunk into the groundcover for occasional footing. Stones should feel incidental, not like a path. No wall features, trellises or vertical elements. Planting should pull back slightly from the door threshold for drainage and access. Overall goal: calm, organic, understated, and very tidy once established.

see image. i have approx 25sqm of existing red brick paving laid in sand on crush rock base. The paving has moved and is uneven and thus needs to be re-laid on similar base. When relaying, i am requesting additional 600mm wider ( see image ) to be laid to assist with making the path more usable. I need someone who is experienced and has all equipment ( eg compactor) to lay pavers. I will supply pavers, sand, cement and crush rock. We require a contractor to attend a recently completed construction site and complete a general tidy-up of the outdoor areas to make presentable. The site was finished a few months ago and requires attention to improve visual appeal and ensure the grounds look clean and well-maintained. Hey!! We are completing a renovation project and have just had the front and rear gardens lightly scraped back and ready for garden beds. Nothing fancy - just length of treated pine plinth so we can plant out and fill with bark or mulch. Doesn't need to be spectacular - but looking for a neat finish to help tidy the garden up. There are 3 x Areas. The front yard, the side and the rear. We will supply ALL timber and material - but just needing a hand getting it looking nice. Also - on the side/underneath the deck in the rear - it is open/exposed and we wouldn't mind either plinth or decking applied to the wall to hide this part underneath the deck. All in all - just needing a helping with some very basic landscaping. Allocating $400 for the day - I couldn't imagine it taking longer than 5-6 hours tops as the plinth is in spans of 5.4m You'll need to use own tools - house is vacant/unattended so looking for someone to help just get it done - and get it done right.

We have a small garden that can do with some enhancement to bring it to its full potential. But low maintenance .We also want to introduce garden lighting. Remove residue from bricks. Dig in dry sand cement to soil and level to stabilise base. Place bricks in pattern. Brush in dry sand cement. 3-4 sq m. Only the pathway not the driveway part so access is restored.3 hours needed.

Need irrigation piping laid in ground before concreting done end of next month as well as conduit with wiring for low voltage garden lighting. Will need one 240v conduit running from side of house to front property boundary. For irrigation, Will need front of house, side of house and back yard done going to a solenoid manifold valve. I just need the pipes and conduit roughed in to each zone. The drip tubing will be done at a later stage as well as the lighting. Thinning 6 butterfly iris bushes, removing their roots as best as possible. Planting approximately 8 small plants and trimming the tops of some magnolia trees. I would like the job to be done neatly.
